Cross-border Electronic Commerce MBA Program

With the development of Internet technology, the global cross-border e-commerce market is experiencing explosive growth, bringing new development opportunities for more countries, more enterprises and more groups. Nonetheless, operating cross-border e-commerce can be different from traditional trade, therefore young people who are interested in engaging in cross-border e-commerce business need special knowledge and skills, as well as the flexibility to adapt to a different and complex business environment.

To address these needs, JSU presents the cross-border e-commerce program. This program is designed to enable people engaged in cross-border e-commerce to be as effective as possible in the Internet business environment.


Objective

The objective of this program is to develop cross-border e-commerce application oriented management talents and entrepreneurial talent as the goal, through the objective of the study, Students should master of business administration specialty and cross-border e-commerce aspects of basic theory, basic knowledge and basic skills, understand cross-border electricity ecological system, the present situation and development trend, the development have a certain ability of electric business strategic planning and digital business.


Who Should Attend

The program is designed for the undergraduate, (there are no restrictions on undergraduate majors). Work experience is preferred.


Program Benefits

The program will enable participants to:

(1) Get risk-free cross-border e-commerce practice opportunities. Chinese companies working with Jiangsu University will provide products and take risks for the students

(2) Guidance of successful cross-border e-commerce enterprises. The teaching team of the project includes professors from Jiangsu University and successful executives of cross-border e-commerce enterprises

(3) Outstanding students will be recommended to work in China’s cross-border e-commerce companies or become their partners abroad

(4) Assist aspiring entrepreneurs to enter the business incubator for entrepreneurship


Length of Schooling and Degree Awarding

Academic system: the academic system lasts for two years, including one year of theoretical teaching (teaching, case study and experimental courses of some courses) and no less than six months of cross-border e-commerce practical training. Each student shall write practical MBA thesis with cross-border e-commerce practical training project as the theme.

Students who have completed the required credits and passed the thesis defense of MBA will be awarded the master degree of business administration (MBA) from Jiangsu University.
